Quchat Shekarri
Quchat Shekarri an international student from Nigeria, is a senior at Penn State University majoring in food science. She interned with Penn State’s Berkey Creamery during the summer of 2010 and had projects such as revising ice cream recipes and writing standard operating procedures.
These projects allowed her to gain insightful experiences into the dairy industry and about making dairy products. After she graduates, she hopes to work in the food industry before going on to graduate school.
