Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences

Creamery Store

The Creamery has been an integral part of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Penn State almost from the start. During most of our history we were part of the Department of Dairy Husbandry.

Besides what is produced at the Creamery facility, the store sells a large variety of products made right on campus. Products like donuts, muffins, cookies, mushrooms, eggs, meats, sandwiches, and salads are received daily from other departments throughout the University.

The new Creamery Store opened  in August of 2006.  Measuring some 3700 square feet, it is more than two and one half times the size of the old Creamery in Borland.  The store has a beautiful flowing curve design of architecture with a two story overlook from the student lounge above.  Seating has also improved with the addition of more space.  There is seating for more than 75 people inside and 170 outside.  Still more sitting areas are available on the specially designed seatwalls which wrap around the store's landscaped areas.  Additional products are coming on daily, with items such as pizza, bulk coffees, and memorabilia items.
